Ciurana

2018 vintage
93 – Vinous: “This is a quintessential Priorat red.”
18/20 – Jancis Robinson: “A new, top, classic Priorat has been born.”
92 – Hudin: “Dark fruited on the palate as well with a good deal of acidity that lingers into the finish.”
92 – René Langdahl: “Freshness on the tongue, wilderness structure, high paradoxical acidity again and refreshing aftertaste with robustness bordering on brutality… in ballet shoes.”
96 – Toronto Star: “This is a wine that doesn’t just taste of its place – it is its place. It erupts on the palate with rich, velvet fruit cloaking iron-fist intensity.”

2019 Vintage
91 – Vinous: “This is a savory Priorat red with a harmonious character.”

A Priori

2018 vintage
93 – Vinous: “It’s a Cariñena with a true Priorat heart.”
93 – Hudin: “…fresh finish that holds some lingering plum notes.”
95 – René Langdahl: “Giant wine. I am blown back in the chair by the sound at maximum volume.”
95 – Toronto Star: “This wine tastes primal, taking you back to a time and place you’ve never experienced but feels known. It’s pure Carignan and exudes a brooding, muted fragrance. The attack is intense – powerful and earthy, streaming in with much more than just fruit.”

2019 Vintage
92 – Vinous: “Dry and taut, it features reactive tannins and a juicy flow, leading to a rather compact finish.”

Cap Blanc

2019 vintage
92 – Hudin: “Nicely defined on the palate with good weight throughout the mid palate, citric grip and a lengthy finish overall.”
93 – René Langdahl: “A nose with dried papaya, oil product, honey, butterscotch and rich oily viscosity, but with this magical acidity that comes in the aftertaste. … Excellent grenache blanc.”
93 – Toronto Star: “it swirls in, beaming with intensity while a chiselled chalky texture underpins the fruit. Spiralling acidity winds through the honey butter and nut centre, keeping the wine lit and crisp. As the attack recedes, toasted meringue, then raw nut and finally chalk persists on the finish. “

2020 Vintage
91 – Vinous: “Dry and rich, its intense palate lingers on oak-derived flavors. This serious white reflects the challenges of the 2020 vintage.”

centurion

2019 vintage
94 – Vinous: “The 2019 Centurion is 100% Cariñena sourced from a vineyard planted in 1915 in Priorat. Fermented in barrel, this garnet wine reveals cherry and herbal hints, along with a deep, enticing pomegranate core. Caramel and oak notes lend additional complexity. Dry, rich and compact—characteristic of Priorat reds—the highly extracted and concentrated palate contrasts with a faintly loose flow. What a delicious red.
